CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It looks like Charleston native Jennifer Garner and her husband Ben Affleck are expecting baby number two.

Several entertainment sources are reporting Jennifer is five months pregnant. Sources say a friend shared the news with reporters.

Their daughter, Violet, will be three in December.

Garner and Affleck are expected to visit West Virginia in late September for a fundraiser at the University of Charleston. However, organizers tell WSAZ.com the couple won't be 100 percent sure if they can come until a month before the event.

I'll stand in line for a chance at #3!

I think it is wonderful that the local news keeps up on Jennifer and Ben. Jennifer is a good role model for our state. To the ones who said there name was never in the paper when they had children, have you given any reason for us to need to know.

Sounds like Hollywood. Stars keep having babies, or adopting them, because "everyone else is." They don't have time for children but depend on nannies. The next thing you will hear they are getting a divorce. Poor children!

Who cares that she is expecting or when? Sources have been known to be wrong....DUH! Some of you people need a life......

Posted by: Heather on Jul 19, 2008 at 10:32 PM
Why is this even being reported? She doesn't care about this state...

Posted by: jennifer on Jul 19, 2008 at 09:00 PM
this has not been confirmed. don't always trust the wire. better to have things confirmed than slip up.

Last I heard they were about to get a divorse because he gambles too much. If thats true then why have another baby

Posted by: Cristie on Jul 19, 2008 at 11:31 AM
I think it is wonderful that they continue to build their family without letting the stress of Hollywood get in their way.

And congratulations to Jennifer and Ben. She has made our state proud! :)

Some of you people are so stupid. Don't you know after you're about 7 months pregnant you're not supposed to fly unless you have to? So the math works out perfectly. GOD people on here are so rude sometimes!

Posted by: Kathy S on Jul 19, 2008 at 09:12 AM
Although I'm happy for them, WHY is this "news"? I'm SO sick of all these celebs and "stars" - VERY sick of "BRANGELINA" - and their kids being front page NEWS. WHO CARES? People have babies every day and their babies don't get all the adoration and MILLIONS of $$$$$ for their photos. THEY are just as important, wanted and loved as these rich famous peoples kids I assure you! Every media outlet has to hit the stands 1st with this astounding "news" about who is pregnant, what they're having, outbidding each other for the first pics...I don't CARE! I wish Ms Garner and Mr Affleck well & hope they have another healthy baby BUT enough media. Besides, Jen and Ben don't seem the type to WANT all their private/personal life/news splashed everywhere like Brad & what's her name & some others so I'm not blaming THEM. The so-called "media" needs to get a grip & report on REAL news & REAL people losing their homes; illnesses etc

Ummmmm, it doesn't say she is due in September.

Posted by: Get over it on Jul 19, 2008 at 08:36 AM
UM...It doesn't say she is expecting her baby in September, it says she & Ben are expected to be in West Virginia for a fundraiser in September. DUH!!! They won't know if they can attend the University fundraiser until a month before the event. Anytime a famous person is due to be in West Virginia, people seem to freak out. As for Kevin Maynard, are you jealous that you have not been in the news? Perhaps you are jealous of her celebrity status. Either way don't let it bother you. I have never been in the news either, but I'm not going to be upset when someone else is.

Posted by: Hello? on Jul 19, 2008 at 08:06 AM
All of you are wrong......Women are pregnant for 40 weeks - which is really 10 months. If you have had a baby - you would know this. If she is exactly 5 months pregnant on July 19, then she isn't due until December!

"WHO CARES"

Posted by: Anonymous on Jul 18, 2008 at 10:50 PM
Ummm...if she's 5 months pregnant, that means she's not due for another 4 months. That's November, not September.

Posted by: Kevin Maynard on Jul 18, 2008 at 10:11 PM
I have 4 kids and live in WV ....I have never made the news

Posted by: jan on Jul 18, 2008 at 09:50 PM
congratulation Jennifer and Ben I like both of them. It might put a stop to all those rumors about them.they make a great couple

Posted by: guess who? on Jul 18, 2008 at 09:35 PM
Better do the math again...if she is 5 months the end of July that would make her due in November! 9 Months!

Posted by: Michelle on Jul 18, 2008 at 04:09 PM
Do the math....she will be due around that time. I would venture to say they won't be there....

Congrats to Jennifer Garner.
