82-Year-Old Golfer Hits Lucky Streak

GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- It's every golfers dream to hit that one spectacular shot that's the talk of the course. It's a dream one local golfer is living after he got that shot not once, but twice!
We head to the links for the tale of a lucky streak that's spreading like wildfire!
For Homer "Hank" Hankins, like every golfer, you have to start with the right club. Ball placement is key.
Then, technique, swing and power take care of the rest!
But, after 50 years of golfing, Hank will tell you,
“I've always said I'd rather be lucky as good any time,” said Hank.
And that's just what Hank is!
He's been golfing more than half his life and now--at 82-year-old--this full-time golfer finally has a story to top all others!
“The three guys I played with, I didn't see the ball. It went right in front of the pin and Dick Brown said, "That went in the hole," said Hank.
But, Hank didn't stop there!
Two days later on his very next game!
“One of the guys said, that went in the hole and I said you're kidding.
He said no, that went in the hole,” said Hank.
Three days, two games, two holes in one and Hank still isn't finished!
Hank has made four holes in one in his life.
Special thanks to the Cliffside Golf Club for their hospitality.

Dad, All those years on the sod has paid off in thrilling luck and hopefully a few bucks after the game for the club house. Wear out, not rust out!

Dear Dad, Hello from the Cotswalds. Gallipolis is a special place for our family. Some say it was cursed by Cief Cornstalk after the French and Indian Wars. Aren't you glad the chief wasn't a golfer! We all love you and hope you keep on swinging those clubs for a long time. Love- Keith, Kraig, Karen & Fred (The Son-In-Law who thinks he'a a golfer...) By the way, I'm trying to get you a gig at St Andrews.
