HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters in Huntington quickly brought a house fire under control Wednesday afternoon.
The fire at 97 Oney Ave. was reported shortly after 1 p.m.
Firefighters, who arrived at the scene in less than five minutes, said the fire was contained to the front of the house. No injuries were reported.
Neighbors say the homeowner left with her mother minutes before the fire was reported.
We're told a couple with two children and two cats live in this house. The adults and kids weren't home, and at least one of the cats escaped. The cause of the fire was unknown.
