CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people headed to work early in the morning last week were robbed at gunpoint on two different sides of the river -- and police believe the same suspects are behind both crimes.

Police need your help to catch the suspects, who have been named Charleston's Most Wanted.

Check out the surveillance video above and/or the pictures below. Charleston Police say a man was riding his bike to work near Washington and Patrick streets on the west side when some people in a car started chasing him.

At some point during the chase, the victim jumped off his bike and started running. When they got into a parking lot near some townhouses, the suspects jumped out of the car and ran toward the victim.

The video shows one of the suspects firing a gunshot into the air at one point.

Detectives say the men caught up to the victim and forced him to the ground at gunpoint, taking his wallet. Then, one of the robbers laughed at him before taking off, according to the victim.

The victim says there were five men involved in the robbery -- and they appeared to be wearing full body clothing and possibly using something to cover their faces.

The suspects' vehicle, also seen in the pictures and video, is a silver two-door sporty car with a sunroof and tinted windows.

Shortly after that incident, police believe the same suspects robbed another man who was walking to work across the river in South Charleston.

It happened near Enterprise Rent-a-Car on MacCorkle Avenue. The victim says the car pulled up as he was walking to work, showed a small black handgun, told him to get on the ground, and then stole his dufflebag.

The suspect was wearing a red, long-sleeve warm-up style shirt and a red headband or bandanna. The description of the car the suspect was riding in was almost identical to the car involved in the first robbery, according to police.

Contact Detective Autumn Davis at the Charleston Police Department if you can help identify the people involved in this crime: (304) 348-6480.

Gangs or People that hurt, rob.or kill any human that is alone or not, needs to be charged and sent to Prison! If they cause severe injury causing the death of another human being they should get life,( No Matter Who They Are or How Old They Are Because It's Intent and They Know Better!)When they catch this people,I think people are SICK of HEARING- Excuses for adult or teen gangs: such as they didn't mean it,or their just teen boy's beginning their lifes,or they were on drugs,or drunk,or some just watched and didn't want involved is why they didn't tell, until caught. They all know what they are doing, and they are all guilty! Not all Police, but some, don't want to investigate cases like this and it is WRONG to let this people get by with it! Police should INVESTIGATE every back case in towns like this in W.V.,state,or federal fund money should be given for this.To do NOTHING is UNFAIR TO THE VICTIMS and THEIR FAMILIES! FAMILIES NEED TO PULL TOGETHER AND DEMAND ANSWER'S!

Whoever this idiot is he doesn't know anything about a gun. Did you see him try to shoot it twice without chambering a bullet. I hope they try that with somebody who can match their fire power and blows their heads off.

I forgot probably at the new donut shop in spring St. or parking on the side of the street over by the 7eleven off Westmoreland, like nobodys going to see your cars on the other side! Obviously all these theives and robbers know they will never be caught! So much for being safe in Charleston

it doesn't looke like a grand am or a grand prix to me, it does look more like a honda, these guys are some real douch bags, they didn't get enough money the first time they had to do it twice, they are probably doing this for a thrill, they eed to be behind bars before he kills someone with that gun.

The car is DEFINATELY a 1999 or 2000 Honda Accord coupe. Hope they catch these thugs.

You would think the PD would do enough research to identify the type of vehicle. ??

Looks like a Honda to me too.
