Nitro, W. Va. (WSAZ) -- Nitro Police are looking for a man they say choked a poker dealer at Tri-State Racetrack & Gaming Center just after midnight on Wednesday.
Police say the player got upset with the dealer because he wanted his winnings at the table. The dealers can't give out prize money to players at the table.
They say the man grabbed the dealer by the throat. The dealer was not hurt in the attack.
Police say generally they don't have any problems at Tri-State Racetrack.

some of you people are very rude on your comments. nowhere does it say they were illegal. and even so they are still someones son brother or possibly father we should pray for their families and let them grieve with their loss and not have to listen to a bunch of rude comments. if it was you would you want your family to have to listen to what you people are saying about these men you dont even know?
I knew when I read this story that the Bible thumpers would plaster it with ignorant comments. You fellows say things like this is why you voted against gambling; I say your knee jerk reactions to things like this is why I avoid most churches. This guy got out of hand, and he was dealt with accordingly. There is a gas station down the street from me that has more trouble than this whole racetrack; so using your logic, is gasoline an abomination to the Lord that makes people violent and crazy? You guys have your minds made up on this, but guess what? We have legalized table games in Kanawha County now, and I don't care if 50 people get choked out there this weekend, we're still going to have them.
That has to be the longest sentence in the history of sentences.WOW!The area we live in is boring, and there's nothing to do.If some of you dont like gambling then stay home.I think we need more bingo halls!lol
