FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- Gamblers in Kentucky will no longer be able to access some online casinos because of a legal fight being led by Gov. Steve Beshear.
Some of those online casino operators have already started blocking access to Kentucky residents. The state filed a lawsuit against them last week. Beshear said online casino operators pay no tax revenues to the state and provide no jobs.
State lawyers want the online casino operators not only to block access in Kentucky but also to pay an unspecified amount of financial damages for lost revenue.
