It may be the most star-studded Charleston Sternwheel Regatta in years. The city sponsored festival will feature something for everyone–from country to golden oldies.
According to music website, Pollstar, the city will bring in Blood, Sweat and Tears Thursday night along with Chuck Negron, the former lead singer for Three Dog Night. The Commodores are also booked to play that night.
80’s rockers, Quiet Riot, will play Friday night. Country music star Randy Travis is booked for Saturday and the Charlie Daniels Band will play Sunday.
All the acts are free down on Kanawha Boulevard. The five day festival kicks off Thursday, August 31st at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.
