HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man who police said was a suspect in a Huntington murder has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.
18-year-old Dwight Green entered the plea in US District Court on Monday. He was charged with possessing and distributing crack cocaine.
Police arrested Green during a traffic stop in Huntington back in July.
In July, WSAZ.com reported that during a federal court hearing on those drug charges, testimony confirmed that Green was a suspect in the murder of Timothy Taylor.
Taylor was found shot to death outside a house in the 1600 block of 9th Avenue in early May. Police have not made an arrest in that case.
Green will be sentenced on the drug charges in January.
