POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A 2,400-gallon aquarium made a big splash Friday at the Point Pleasant River Museum during a dedication ceremony featuring Gov. Joe Manchin and many others.

Manchin helped celebrate the public unveiling of the fish tank, which is nearly 20-feet long and fully stocked with fish from the Ohio River. Visitors will enjoy the uniquely shaped paddlefish, buffalo gar and the brightly colored sunfish, among several others.

The aquarium, located in the River Museum, is now open and part of the museum tour. The cost is $4 for adults and just $1 for children.

That's pretty cool. We take the old river for granted, but I've met people from other places who would love to fish the Ohio. 'Course, I'm a riverrat:)
