Eleven miners were working on the mantrip when it jumped the tracks and crashed. Seven of the miners were taken to the hospital.
A mine safety spokesperson tells WSAZ.com five of the men returned to work Monday night and another will be back at the mine Tuesday. The seventh miner will remain off the job while he recovers from a back injury.
Jama Jarrett also tells WSAZ.com state and federal regulators are at the mine Tuesday looking at the piece of equipment that caused the accident.
Jarrett says the investigators will test the equipment to see if there was a manufacturing error.

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- We're learning more about a mine accident that injured seven miners.
The accident happened late Friday night at the Round Bottom Mine in Boone County, which is near Sylvester. Mine safety officials said the miners were on a Mantrip when it jumped the tracks and crashed.
It is still not clear if the miners were starting or ending their shift. Some of their injuries were serious but not life threatening.

SYLVESTER, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Seven miners were hurt at a mine in Boone County.
It happened at the Round Bottom Mine near the town of Sylvester during a shift change Friday night.
It's still not clear how the accident happened.
Dispatchers say the injuries are not life threatening.
We do know that some of the miners had broken bones.
