"I didn't do nothing, I'm innocent," Jeremy Kiser told NewsChannel 3. "I didn't make a threat on this lady."

Jeremy Kiser is a 19 year old college student in Kanawha County. He may be young, but he faces federal charges that could affect the rest of his life.

According to the FBI, Kiser threatened to blow up the Women's Health Center last month. Wednesday, he spoke out to NewsChannel 3.

"I'm not in the pro-life organization, not a radical. I'm a plain old normal person who goes to college, works a job," Kiser said. "That my girlfriend aborted my kid. I just got upset about it."

Kiser admits to calling the clinic, but says he never made a threat over the phone.

We heard a different story from those in charge of the clinic.

"He's apparently an individual who has committed a serious act, a serious criminal offense," Sharon Lewis, director of the clinic, said.

We asked Jeremy about what was said during that phone call, but he told us he couldn't comment. His attorney asked him not to answer that question. He did say he was under emotional distress because he just found out his girlfriend had an abortion.

"I'm going to let the court know I would never hurt nobody, I don't hate no one. A person just gets upset when a person they love just had their kid killed," Kiser said.

Now Jeremy's future is up to federal court. Meantime, his girlfriend has moved away and he's not allowed to have any contact with the clinic -- all for something he said he did after the loss of a loved one.

Kiser faces up to ten years in prison and a quarter million dollar fine if convicted.
