Engineering Group to Open Office in Putnam County
Versailles, Ky.-based Energy Management Services Co. said
Thursday it plans to hire 30 to 40 engineers with 12 to 18 months.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A Kentucky engineering company that
provides technical services to the oil and natural gas industry
plans to open an office in West Virginia.
Versailles, Ky.-based Energy Management Services Co. said
Thursday it plans to hire 30 to 40 engineers with 12 to 18 months.
Robert Tomblin, the Charleston branch manager, said the company
is working on securing a location in Teays Valley. The company also
has offices in Houston and Baytown, Texas, and Southfield, Mich.
Energy Management also provides technical services to the
chemical, manufacturing, general industrial and utility industries,
and to the U.S. government.

Well, here's on Civil engineer who's going to throw his hat in the ring. As for the Mechanical, Chemical and Electrical engineers, your job prospects aren't usually as good locally as they are for we Civils, so I wish you the best of luck.
