When your child is sick diagnosed with a serious disease, you focus on the recovery. But, the Bentley family in Pike County, Kentucky is dealing with a double whammy that's knocked the whole family off their feet. Their little boy Ethan is battling a rare form of liver cancer called heptoblastoma that was so bad the 5 year old had to get a liver transplant at a Cincinnati hospital. After seven 7 weeks in doctor's care they finally got to go home but it was not the homecoming they expected.

They were away the greater part of six months, in and out of hospital rooms and motels, all they wanted to go was go home. at the beginning of the year, ethan was diagnosed with heptoblastoma. It’s a disease that causes tumors and lesions, they only option they had was a transplant.

Ethan's surgery went well, It has been 2 months and his body has not rejected the new liver. Then last week, Donna & James were told they could go back to their house in Virgie, Kentucky. When they got home they found someone had broken into their home. Donna says some of the items can be replaced but other sentimental items cam not. Their camcorder had the last video of Ethan before he got sick – now that tape and camera are gone.

While Ethan's body has taken the liver, he's not out of the woods yet, the family still has to go through rounds of treatment in Lexington, Kentucky. If anyone has any information about this robbery, call Kentucky State Police.
