CHESAPEAKE, Ohio (WSAZ) --Three volunteer fire departments were called out to battle a fire inside an apartment this morning.

Thankfully, firefighters say nobody was home.

It happened in Chesapeake, Ohio around 2:30, at an apartment on County Road 1.

The apartment is actually behind a salon, "Shear Connection" which was also damaged.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal's office says there are no indications the fire was intentionally set. However, the exact cause remains undetermined.

Investigators say the fire started in the living room, on or near the couch.

The electric had been shut off prior to the fire

The fire was put out very quickly in the apartment by the fire department. There was little damage to the store.
