CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Kanawha County grand jury handed down several indictments for murder and bank robbery.
Four people were indicted for robbing a Charleston credit union. Shawn Elmore, Charlene Bowman, Latisha Dorsey and Shearney McKeller are charged with robbing the State Credit Union last August.
Police said Elmore walked in and handed the teller a blank note, then demanded money. He took a large amount of cash and ran.
Police said his girlfriend, Charlene Bowman, was driving the getaway car. They believe Dorsey and McKeller helped plan the robbery.
Desmond Clark was indicted in connection with the murder of his girlfriend Nalisha Gravely at the Taco Bell along Patrick Street last July. Police said Clark chased Gravely into the restaurant, jumped over the counter and gunned her down while she was hiding in a closet.
Clark was also indicted for wanton endangerment and kidnapping because there were several people in the restaurant at the time of the murder.
Farley Rhodes was indicted in connection with the murder of Starlena Pratt. Police said the couple got into an argument at their South Charleston home last August. Farley allegedly set the home on fire, and Pratt died from injuries suffered in the blaze. She died in the hospital about a month later.
