The newest dating service in the area is giving a whole new meaning to matchmaking! You're over thirty; you're single and can't find anyone to date. That was the predicament a local man suddenly found himself in a few years ago.
After getting fed up with the frustration, Ed Matnety decided to do something about it.
Ed started this service out of his frustration with the dating scene. But, he won't benefit from the service because he says it would be a conflict of interest.
How it works. A person tapes their 30 second video, then they're video and a brief description goes on the members’ only website. If you find someone you're interested in, you can send them an e-mail and arrange a short first meeting, coffee-type date.
Often what happens is both people call Ed first to get the scoop to find out whether he thinks they're a good match.
