HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington Police are investigating a shooting where one person was taken to the hospital.
HPD is trying to figure out what happened in the Walnut Hills area Wednesday night when police responded to a shooting call at about 11:30 p.m.
When they got to the intersection of Springdale Avenue and Davis Street, they found a 28-year-old woman with an injury to her side. They didn't specify if that injury was the result of a gun shot.
Police did find two houses on Davis that had bullet holes in them; both were in the 300 block.
Police listed a person of interest as being a male about 5'8" tall weighing about 140 pounds with brown hair.

Hey Cutter, the article didn't need to say it involved drugs or Detroit, we all already know!! I think it's safe to assume that around 98% of Htgn's shootings/stabbings/crime involve DRUGS and yes, DETROIT!!! Let me guess.. you are from detroit or involved in drugs, that's why the comments upset you!!

nobody in this incident was from detroit. i also didnt see anything about drugs. it was a home invasion. despite what everyone is thinking there are criminals in huntington that are not from detroit.
