PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A fire has damaged a church in downtown Pikeville, Kentucky.
It happened around 7 a.m. Thursday morning at the Main Street Church of Christ.
Investigators say it looks like the fire started in the attic. Other parts of the church suffered smoke and water damage.
A pre-school operating in the church canceled classes Thursday due to the fire.
The ATF and Kentucky State Fire Marshal were called in to investigate. Right now, they say the fire does not look suspicious.
