UPDATE 8/14/06: Police say a viewer's tip helped them identify and catch the woman pictured in the surveillance video below. Kimberly Hunt was arrested on Friday at her home on Avon Street in Charleston. Detectives charged Hunt with 16 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card. The charges, however, are only a misdemeanor since the total amount of the alleged crimes is less than $1,000. Hunt was granted bond and is awaiting a court hearing.

Police say she went on a shopping spree with someone else's credit card. In fact, detectives say the stolencard was used at least 17 times. Now, they need your help to identify and catch the suspect.

The Charleston Police Department has named the woman pictured one of Charleston's Most Wanted. These pictures are from Monday at the Exxon at Florida Street on the west side. Police say the card was stolen out of a car on the east end--and then used all over town.

Detectives say the woman acted suspiciously by buying a large amount of goods at a convenience store.

"Credit card cases like this seem to be kind of minor crimes," said Sergeant Aaron James, assistant chief of the Charleston Police Criminal Investigations Division. "but in reality, they cause a lot more trouble than some major crimes because they cause years worth of credit damage to some people and make it difficult for them to use credit."

This woman is facing credit card fraud charges when she's caught. Police say she might be traveling around with a thin man in his early thirties, and could be driving a tan four door car.

Call the Charleston Police at (304) 348-6400 or 348-6480 if you have any information about this woman. Detective Autumn Davis is the investigator on the case.
