CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A couple that is no stranger to jail, is accused of exposing their six grandchildren to meth.
Belinda Williams and Raymond Taylor were arrested Thursday after police got a tip they were making meth in their home on Rocky Fork Road in Cross Lanes.
When investigators got to the house, they found meth making materials inside.
The children were also in deplorable conditions.
Police say Williams told them she was selling meth to raise enough money so she could move back to Cincinnati.
Williams and Taylor are both currently in jail.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 156-A Wildwood Acres at about 1130 Thursday night after getting a complaint from neighbors about a strong chemical spill coming from the house.
During a search of the house, deputies found numerous items used to make meth.
Deputies arrested 22-year Shawn Jackson of Clay, 51-year old Raymond Taylor of Charleston, and 45-year old Belinda Williams of Charleston.
3 other people in the house at the time, a mother her 2 small children were taken to a local shelter.
