Gotta agree - simply put, it was probably a lack of sales. Also, if you actually read the article it mentions something like he is taking SEVERAL WEEKS off to recover from "flu like" symptoms?!?! The guy is middle-aged and appears to be in relatively good health. I'm 47 and have NEVER spent more than two DAYS in bed with the "flu" (or any other illness for that matter) and most of us don't take two, three or more weeks off from work for the "flu". If the guy simply wants a break, be honest and take one - but I am tired of these entertainers always whining about the flu or throat problems. Come up with a new schick already - that excuse is getting lame!

Well if he's really sick, I hope he gets better soon but I agree it was probably lack of ticket sales like it always is & you can't blame artists for not wanting to come where there's no audience In this economy people don't have money for concerts, movies etc & worse for Trace, it's the holidays too so if anyone DOES have a few extra $$$$ they need it for those instead of entertainment The old joke here of course (to us "old" residents of H'town anyway") is that even Elvis died so he wouldn't have to come to Huntington lol! (for you "kids" who don't know or remember, Elvis was supposed to open the Civic Center when it was new in 77 but died that August) So I guess Trace may have said.."hmm, Huntington, WEST VIRGINIA?" Nah - thanks anyway LOL. If you're really sick Trace? Feel better soon cause we love ya

oh darn what a pity. i guess that'll just delay the amount of drucken hillbillies from being on the roadways for a few more weeks.
