HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Marshall University announced Tuesday it will begin construction in the next two weeks on new locker and team meeting rooms for both basketball teams.
The locker rooms, measured at 3,100 square feet each, will be under the south stands at the Cam Henderson Center. The rooms will feature film rooms, lounges for the players and coaches, locker rooms, flat screen televisions, kitchens and a larger storage area.
The project is expected to cost around $2 million. Marshall has about $800,000 of the total from ticket sales and a private donor. The rest will come through a fund-raising project.
Once the project is completed, the current home locker rooms will become the locker rooms for the visiting team.

why even have a baseball team?
i like how the money i pay for an education goes toward athletics. 300 hundred dollars in "other" fees that are in no way academic related, i guess its helping pay for that big flat screen tv they need so bad. i sure could use that money to pay for books.
What about a baseball stadium????
