HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- With the economy in a tailspin, we hear about job losses all too often.

But some new "green" jobs are on the way to Huntington. Inventor Paul Wilks announced Friday that he soon will be adding 10 jobs to his environmentally friendly Powerwagon operation.

The Powerwagon is a mobile power source that can power up different kinds of electrical appliances, and it recharges when you hook it up to the back of your car -- saving both time and money.

"It's really exciting that you can really make a difference," Wilks said. "With the oil prices the way they are, with this, you don't have to worry about it."

The Powerwagon has a life span of between five and seven years. During the next year, Wilks is expected to expand his workforce by 50 people.
