SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A family from Sissonville will get some help Sunday night after a fire destroyed their home.
The fire started at their house on Derricks Creek Road around 6:30 Sunday morning.
Everyone was able to make it out of the house, but an 8-year-old boy suffered a few burns to his back.
Firefighters say the boy was treated on the scene for the burns. It took crews about an hour to get the fire out.
The Red Cross has stepped in to offer some relief to the family.
