SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews say it's going to take longer to respond to a call in the Allens Fork area of Sissonville if there's snow or ice on the road.
They say it's because Route 21 is closed in that area while a bridge is replaced.
Since June 6, residents have been taking an eight minute detour from the Goldtown exit of I-77 to the Haines Branch exit.
Emergency crews believe it will take at least an additional 15 minutes if the road conditions are poor.
The new bridge is expected to be completed by June.
