I think this is the most wasteful use of money, even if it's not tax dollars. It's like they enjoying throwing out the fact they're spending $850,000 on a party. My gosh, are they going to be eating off of 24k gold plates and eating diamonds? Not only that, but we have a president who will be spending close to $40 millon on his inauguration festivities. To me it's a slap in the face by the politicians. They're out rubbing elbows with their corporate friends while us average Joe's are trying to scrape enough together to pay the bills and feed our families.

hey jerry, you are just mad that your idea on the matter was wrong. Tax payer money isn't being used. Federal campaign laws would prevent it being donated to any charitable organization. Maybe you should have had GB Bush, your lord and personal savior, change the campaign laws while in office. Didn't happen. Go hunting, moron.

hey Blue you are a typical political hack sucking up to gov joe and the rich folk while the rest of us have to fight over getting our next meal. maby they should use this event as a fund raiser to feed the hungry people up here in clay county and the poor communities of wva. im going to have to go deer hunting pretty soon if food prices keep getting higher. at least i can load my own ammo, well as long as gun powder prices don't rise.
