COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A third person has been charged in connection with the shooting death of a man from Mason County, West Virignia.
Federal prosecutors announced Wednesday that 29-year-old Elisha Lacy Dickens of Pomeroy, Ohio, has been charged with interstate travel to commit a crime resulting in death. This is in connection with the murder and robbery of Christopher Roush of Clifton, West Virginia.
Roush was found shot to death at this house in Mason, West Virginia, back in June.
Dickens is currently serving a two-year sentence in an Ohio corrections facility on drug trafficking charges out of Meigs County.
On Monday, 48-year-old Michael Haynie of Columbus, Ohio, pleaded guilty to his role in the same crime.
Prosecutors say Dickens conspired with Haynie and Adam McClellan to kill Roush, who was a drug dealer.
In Haynie's plea, he said he and another man drove to Roush’s house in order to rob him of money and drugs. Haynie said after entering the house, he struck one of the people inside with a gun. The gun discharged, firing a round into the ceiling.
Haynie then admitted that he struck the man again with the firearm, which again discharged the gun. This time, the bullet hit Roush in the head, killing him.
Haynie said he then fled without money or drugs.
McClellan was indicted for the crime back in August. Charges are still pending against him.

Old Friend, I just talked to David Deem, Principal at Meigs Jr. High, yesterday about his daughter, Emily Grace. I asked him how he coped. We talked for almost 2 hours. He helped me by listening to me as I did him. Emily was 11, they still don't know why she died. Can you imagine? I feel his pain. I told him I want to someday, when this ordeal is over, go into the schools and tell them about Chris and how he was a good kid that got sucked into that "lifestyle." I agree, if it saved one person it would mean so much to the whole family. There are so many parents who have lost children and my heart goes out to every one of them. I have been talking to God each morning on my way into work. I think he listens. I'm still looking for an answer to something that troubles me so much. I want to know Chris is in heaven. I want that for my peace of mind and for his eternity. I hadn't thought about eternity for so long but it troubles me daily now. Please continue to pray for me and my family.

Brenda My heart goes out to you and Ray and your entire family, I have lost a child but under different cirumstances so I pray for you and I hope you find the closure you need. I want to add though the people who "know" that Frank and whoever else are dealing then do something about it. Posting it on here isn't going to stop anything or help any one. And Brenda I think that it would be a wonderful and inspiring thing for you to educate, even if you only make a diffence in one persons life then that is not only one person but their entire family and all of their friends that you saved a life time of grief...although I believe that you will be able to get through to more.
