WAYNE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The trial for the two army deserters charged with killing a Huntington minister has been delayed.
Daniel Smith and Stephen Wilson face murder and first-degree robbery charges in connection with the shooting death of Rev. Mark McCalla.
McCalla's body was found at the shooting range in the Beech Fork Wildlife Management Area back in June.
Smith and Wilson were arrested several days later in Columbus, Ohio.
McCalla was the minister at the Highlawn Presbyterian Church at the time of his death.
Smith and Wilson’s trial was scheduled to begin today (Monday) in Wayne County Circuit Court. The Prosecutor's office say a new trial date will be set during a March 6th hearing.

These creeps have now claimed 2 more victims. I understand Pastor Mark's father had a stroke this week from the horrible stress he his been subjected to since his son's murder. And his mother has declined to the point that she now requires full time nursing care. Nobody should have to spend their last days on this earth in such anguish. The cretins\animals deserve the death penalty!!!! Lift up the McCalla's in prayer.
I hate to say it because I am wishy washy about capital punishment. But these young men are poster children for it. Deserters and Murderers. I don't want to cloth and feed them for the rest of their lives.
Prayers for Pam and the kids.
