CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The annual showdown between the West Virginia University and Marshall University basketball programs is such a hot ticket, you'll need to be an elected official - or at least pals with one - to get one of the few remaining seats.
The Charleston Civic Center's 12,380 seats are sold out for the Capital Classic, featuring the schools' men's and women's teams.
The state's 134 lawmakers have 400 tickets reserved for them and guests, although they have to pay for the seats.
Civic Center General Manager John Robertson says the doubleheader has sold out for 10 consecutive years.
Wednesday's installment starts with the women's teams at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.
