MIDDLEPORT, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Residents of Middleport will not have electricity in the downtown business district either Tuesday or Wednesday for up to four hours, according to information from American Electric Power.
AEP said the outages will occur as workers are doing upgrades. This will affect customers on North Second Avenue between numbers 97 and 311.
If you are on North 3rd Avenue or Walnut Street, your power may also be turned off.

TO ANONYMOUS AT 10:38 PM...Yeah, right, dream on. My electric bill doubled last month. DID NOT KEEP OR WARMER OR COOLER. JUST THE WAY IT ALWAYS WAS. Now I have turned it down and bundle up.

Hey people, deal with it. You complain, but when your power goes down due to the fact that it was no upgraded, and stays down longer, youll be complaining even more.

I understand improvments have to be made. But at the coldest time of the year? At 20 degrees some homes will get pretty cold without heat for 4 hours.
