One Hurt in Sissonville Head-on Crash; Road Cleared

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) - One man was taken to hospital following a head-on crash near Sissonville High School in Kanawha County.
The accident happened about 7am on Sissonville Drive near the intersection with Martins Branch Road.
We're told an SUV and car hit head-on. Emergency workers had to cut off the car's roof to get the driver out. He was taken to a local hospital. No word on his condition.
The SUV ended up on its side, but the driver was not hurt.
Traffic is moving. Metro 911 reported the wreck was cleared around 8:30 this morning.

This was my boyfriends cousin. The man taken to the hospital suffered a concusion and a broken noise and they kept him overnight for observation. The other driver did not go to the hospital as far as we know.
