If you have young children, take a minute and think, do they know their last name? Their address? Their phone number?

A five year old girl from Nitro didn't and when she wandered away from her home early Sunday morning, police had a hard time tracking down just who she was or who she belonged to.

A driver found the girl dressed in her pajamas around 6:15am Sunday Morning in the middle of 40th street.

Police had to go bang on doors all over neighborhoods to find out where she lived. All she could tell police, she lived in a white house on a hill with a blue truck.

Police finally found her parents a few hours later, sleeping.

No charges have been filed, but police say child neglect charges are a possibility.
