Phil Moye with AEP says power has now been restored to everyone in Cabell County but a handful of customers.
Moye says repairs should be made, and all power restored by 1:30 p.m.
He says the outage was caused by a broken wire that flipped up into an energized line carrying a double circuit.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Some 1,700 people are without power in Cabell County Thursday morning according to AEP’s Website.
Beverly Hills Middle School is now closing and sending students home; as is Our Lady of Fatima.
No word on what caused the outage or when power will be restored.
