HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Tests on a possible asbestos release at a local school came back negative.
Beverly Hills Middle School in Huntington was closed as a precaution on Friday after workers accidentally drilled into an area that may have contained asbestos fibers.
Cabell County School Spokesperson, Jedd Flowers says 10 different air quality test were conducted on the drill holes, and all came back within standards.
Classes will be back in session on Monday.

my daughter was telling me about how a teacher told her last year that asbestos was built in the walls and floors. well i have a concern...i think that the asbestos was released in the air when they took out the upstairs floor in one of the rooms to build the elavator. we send our children to school to be safe but we could actually be hurting them .
