exactly - I am sure none of the know it all commenter would say these things to the kids theirseves or to their parent - I am sure they would have all the facts before they said anything in person - They just foregt what it is like to be young and people let me tell you something you think being a teen was hard when we were young? You have no idea, yeah the kids might have more possesions and have things handed to them more but, for the most part they deserve it, they are all going to be grown soon with the same lives we live day to day. I cannot even understand some of the grade school work my middleschooler brings home - all the kids were good kids from good families who everyone of you prob know someone just like them. They were not juvinile deliquents, not that it would matter if they were even a deliquent doesn't deserve to be hit going 100 mph and have a broken leg massive pain and everything else that goes along with these two grown mens bad decision.

It's funny to me how people are so bored with their own life that thay have to talk about others. The 7 people in the car which was a Malibu(large car) were acting responsibly by having a designated driver. All but one of the people in the car needed to have permission from their parents to be out that late.If you say you've never been out that late in your teen years your lying. All of the people in the car are ok thank God and are now recovering. It could have been a lot worse from seeing the pictures of the car.I hope the drunk driver who hit them is prosecuted to the fullest extent.Sue you really need to know your facts before you come on here acting like you know what you're talking about.Obviously the driver of the 7 was doing the speed limit for the car to have as much damage to the rear end of it that it does and yes they were drinking but who hasn't been out partying when you're 18 or older? For you people who don't know the facts get a life and leave these 7 innocent people alone

The kids were in no way in the wrong in this situation. There was a sober driver so I beleive the kids were doing the responsible thing. As stated before everyone in the car was over the age of 18 except for 1 so therefore do not need permission from their parents to do anything. As for the people who think the kids who had to go to the hospital got a life lesson or got what they deserved you make me sick. Before you go and post a lot of false information I advise you to look at the police report first. Just remember the kids are the victims here no one should forget that!
