BAROURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It’s now just a memory for former students and teachers at a Barboursville school.
Demolition crews are in the process of tearing down the former Barboursville Middle School, which was once Barboursville High School.
We’re told the school’s cornerstone was removed last week before demolition crews went to work.
The new Barboursville Middle School opened back in January. It was built right behind the old school.

It makes me reaaaaaaaaaally mad that they tore down the school, but I guess everything good has to end. Too bad the new school is just like the elementary school they built a few years ago; emotionless and like a jail.
