There will be a 1,500 foot “clear zone” radius from the bridge. Only authorized personnel are allowed within the clear zone.

POMEROY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- The Ohio Department of Transportation has postponed the demolition of the Pomeroy-Mason Bridge until Thursday morning at 8 a.m. due to uncertain weather conditions Wednesday morning.
ORIGINAL STORY:
POMEROY, Ohio (WSAZ) – Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. (weather permitting), the center span of the old Pomeroy-Mason Bridge will be dropped into the Ohio River.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says it will take nineteen C4 charges to bring down the center span.
There will be a 1,500 foot “clear zone” around the bridge. Only authorized personnel are allowed within the clear zone.
The Pomeroy levee has been designated as the site where spectators can watch the blast.
The current bridge and all surrounding roads within the clear zone will be closed five minutes prior to detonation and should be opened within fifteen to thirty minutes after detonation.
Spectators will hear three sirens with the first at five minutes from detonation, the second at three minutes, and the third at one minute before detonation.
Following the demolition there will be an “all clear” siren informing workers to start the cleanup process.
The river channel will be closed for twenty-four hours to allow crews to remove all debris from the river.
WSAZ.com will provide live coverage of the event. Check back Wednesday morning for a link to our live video feed.

tsk! tsk! samantha, you MAY consider "educating" yourself before you attack others. the very fact that you would take the time to spell the word "turds" properly actually sheds quite a bit of light into your character!
like the coverage
Non-Welfare Citizen; First off, terds is spelled turds and the phrase should look like this when it is spelled and used by an educated person "Turds in the Punchbowl". Also, one period is the correct way of ending a sentence. If you are going to try and insult someone’s intelligence, please, please, please do us all a favor and check your own spelling and grammar before submitting your arrogant and condescending posts. Otherwise you appear to be as uneducated as the individuals you are attacking. Just do us all a favor and get over yourself.
