Route 60 Re-Opens After Crash in Kanawha County
MacCorkle Avenue (Route 60) in west Kanawha County is shut down after an accident.

Route 60 is now back open, according to Metro 911 dispatchers.

ORIGINAL STORY
JEFFERSON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- MacCorkle Avenue (Route 60) in west Kanawha County is shut down after an accident.

It happened just before 6 p.m. near the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department.

Metro 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com a car hit a utility pole, causing lines to come down on the road.

Dispatchers are asking drivers to avoid the area.

No word yet if anyone was hurt.
