A crash in Cabell County closed part of Route 2 for several hours Thursday morning.

Police say a pickup tried to pass a car and went off Ohio River Road.

When the driver of the pickup tried to get back on Route 2, his truck hit the other vehicle.

They both went off the road, took out a utility pole and went over an embankment.

The pickup landed on the railroad tracks, the car near the tracks.

The driver of the car, Dottie Edmonds, said everything happened quickly.

Edmonds was fine, but a bit shaken.

The driver and a passenger in the pickup were taken to the hospital.

Their injuries didn't appear serious.

The driver of the pickup was driving on a suspended license.

Route 2 was closed for several hours.

Just a few hours earlier and down the road, another crash, involving a motorcycle.

Dan Rice said he lost control of the motorcycle.
