Animals Severely Abused

The animal shelter in Floyd County, Kentucky, is working against the clock.

Workers there are trying to save dozens of abused animals rescued earlier this week.

Workers say all the dogs were starving and had signs of abuse.

One of the dogs has already died.

Workers say they're doing their best to nurse the others back to good health by slowly feeding them.

The one dog who died had parvo, which is a deadly dog disease.
