CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia royalty or a royal nightmare for West Virginia?
A documentary trailer about West Virginia entertainer Jesco White is making its way to e-mail inboxes all across the state, and it's one of those things that makes you laugh and cringe -- all at the same time.
We showed the documentary, which was created by MTV producers, to local folks to get their reactions.
Jesco White, who hails from Boone County, W.Va., is best known for his dancing and Elvis impersonation. A PBS documentary during the early 90s made his famous. The producer that brought the original "Dancing Outlaw" documentary teamed up with MTV producers to spend time in Boone County with White and his entire family.
Currently, the only plans for it to air is at the Tribecca Film Festival. The documentary's promoters said they will not know until after the festival if the film will be shown anywhere else.
Some of the White family have seen the promo for the movie, and they aren't happy about it. Mamie White says the footage she's seen doesn't represent her very well.
" I don't appreciate it. They were supposed to build us up, not put us as the worst people in the world," said Mamie. "It wasn't supposed to be about the stuff they put on t here."
Filming took place about a year and a half ago. Mamie says she's changed here ways since then.

Banks have huge debts, but they're getting a helping hand from the federal government. If you have overwhelming debt--perhaps from bad investments, or maybe a job loss, a medical crisis or just plain overspending--you're probably on your own.
