MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) -- A judge says West Virginia University cannot hold academic misconduct hearings for anyone who was part of the master's degree scandal involving the governor's daughter.
In a ruling late Friday, Judge Susan Tucker said the investigations and processes leading up to Monday's planned hearing are fundamentally flawed.
She said two staff attorneys and the head of the Office of Academic Integrity have blatant conflicts that create the appearance of unfair and unethical conduct.
Tucker says her ruling on the hearing for former provost Gerald Lang should apply to anyone else who has been summoned.
That includes former Business School Dean Steve Sears, professor Cyril Logar and Craig Walker, who was chief of staff to president Mike Garrison before he resigned last summer.

Does this imply that the governors daughter was the only one "named" in this,so now it's over?
