Kanawha Voting Machines Glitch

We're just a few weeks from decision 2006! Today Kanawha County leaders gave the voting machines a test run to make sure everything is ready.

For the most part -- the test went as planned. However, experts did find a glitch in the software.
A few of the precincts didn't have the right districts.

But the County Clerk, Vera MccCormick says everything will be fixed by election day. “I think people feel a little more confident going into this election. Going into the primary we had a couple bumps in the road. We worked those out and everything has gone much smoother this time.”

Early voting starts a week from today.
