Strong wind could have caused a deadly accident Thursday at Yeager Airport in Charleston. It happened around 9-30 Thursday morning near the Executive Air terminal.
Airport officials say Bobbie McCray was working on a new hanger when a roof beam fell and crushed him.
At the time of the accident the wind was recorded at about 32 miles an hour at the airport.
Crews worked all afternoon to secure the scaffolding and construction site to make sure this wouldn't happen again.
State and county officials are investigating to see if this construction crew was even licensed to work in the state.
The man killed in the accident was from North Carolina.
