  • Posted By: KeithGood luck on the hunt Roane Co., and be careful. Thanks Bluebird but I think I am onto something here. After all, even if, say, all my emails detailing how I had suppressed evidence and ignored contrary information were somehow brought to light, exposing me and my movement as total and complete frauds and hucksters preying on the uninformed, we know only one TV network would even bother to discuss it, and those crazies on the radio, so all the people I am trying to soak would be utterly clueless. But, we need a contingency plan in case some unforseen glitch like this occurs; lets make a list of all the stuff that is going to kill us and have it ready to roll out on a weekly basis, just to keep people stirred up and in a state of frenzied anxiety. First off would be George W. Bush, that has endless potential; next would be Don Blankenship and the coal industry; yeah, good; rounding it out can be potato chips and diet pop. We could throw in fog and ostrich behavior as well, why not?

  • Posted By: GandalfOldies but goodies: Do you go to youtube? I was amazed how many old songs are posted. I thought that all they had was a lot of stupid videos and junk. Was I mistaken or what! All the old 8-tracks that turned to fetucini noodles in the back of my van are posted on you tube. King Crimson, Mountain, Wishbone Ash, Klaatu, Frigid Pink, Sabbath, Steppenwolf, Budgie, are all on there. Even Iron Butterfly. What if some radio station had these on their playlists? Oh yeah, 9 minute solos don't do well on radio do they? LOL
  • Posted By: GandalfChickenfoot: Van Halen minus the Van Halens! Pretty good CD though, Joe Satriani is killer with good backing, and Chad Smith makes it all good. Rat Salad was a song on Black Sabbath's Paranoid album. Maybe Eddie VH liked it. New Release last week from new group called Them Crooked Vultures. Songs have been on youtube for a couple weeks. Real good if you like Queens of the Stone Age or Foo Fighters. Another Super Group? Dave Grohl,Alan Johannes, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones make some pretty good rock, but they're no Crosby, Stills and Nash.
  • Posted By: Big EarlHey are you people down at the TV station gonna have a Christmas party for everybody that writes here on the computer I can bring the deer meat fresh kill to.
  • Posted By: You're all ostrichesIt's sad that so many uninformed people have a podium here and espouse their ignorance. The global icecaps ARE melting, as are the glaciers in the Himalayas. Is this due to "climate change" or global warming. I think it is the latter, due to the use of carbon based fuels. So...go ahead and bury your heads in the sand..you bunch of ostriches.
  • Posted By: ChickenfootHey Gandalf, somewhere I read DLR said it was "Rat Salad" maybe just his humor. Anyway, bad about Mike leaving wasnt it? They wont soon replace his harmonies. Have you heard anything from Sammy and Mike on Chickenfoot?
  • Posted By: BluebirdSorry Keith. It will never work for you. Wrong party. And you probably have a birth certificate to boot.
  • Posted By: Oldies but goodiesTo gandalf: Iron Butterfly, many other big names who where at the field house, Ginger Baker, Ozzie, Ike & Tina...loved the 70's
  • Posted By: RoaneCo.Sorry I have taken so long to comment Keith. What can I say, it is deer season. I like a lot of '80s music Keith, Def Leppard would be my #1. Ok, for the 206th time, I have NO problem with tax cuts as long as they benefit EVERYONE not just BIG BUSINESS and the RICH. As for tax breaks for Big Business, I feel the more a business does to stimulate THE US economy, (emphasis on THE US) ie. compensating their employees with a meaningful wage & benefit package, the more tax breaks they'll get. If a Big Business wants to seek short term record profit by paying poor wages & benefits and/or going overseas as opposed to long term financial gains by strengening The US economy then they will be paying for their greed in the form of taxes. I'll get back with you on the others. I for the most part agree with your ideas, I just think they need a little more teeth as the old saying goes. Have a very nice Thanksgiving everyone. Ooops, I about forgot to mention Rush, didn't I Keith?
  • Posted By: Keith...hey everybody I have seen the light, and its a fluorescent bulb!I want in on the global warming scam, I am now an environmentalist. What better way to separate gullible, naive, and ignorant people from their money? Today I bought a fax machine and now proclaim myself qualified to be a scientist, mainly because I say the earth is really getting hotter, especially in July, Americans are killing the planet, and are guilty as sin and have to beg forgiveness. I am announcing to the media that I will be doing a slide show, I haven't picked out which college yet, but here are the ground rules: Absolutely no questions will be asked of me or answered by me. I will not grant interviews. If I decide to fly in on a private jet, that is my business. If, when I separate enough of you from your money, via the book I will have written by tomorrow and the film I am working on, to buy myself a huge mansion on a hill it is none of concern. If you are a professor, join me; you can trust my qualifications. It will never get out that I am a total fraud, will it?
  • Posted By: hey jeanniethe sun shines, the the ice melts, dont take a genius to figure that out.but with the 2 creations, gods creation and his permission to let some people evolve from slime and monkeys, maybe there are 2 scientific answers to ice melting.even you dont answer the fact there was an ice age before fossil fuel was used only these last hundred years.please explain.
  • Posted By: food for thoughtI agree, Colby Treadway should get some serious attention for Kennedy award. Almost 2,000 yds passing 1,100 rushing. We will see... Awesome season Tide!
  • Posted By: just a freedom lover, keithkeith i like your informed post.but i will say never in my many years,my lifetime have i been so worried about americas freedom, future.i contrast my first time vote, of reagan and mccain and obama.i vote only on the abortion issue.if a person believes in the slaughter of unborn babies and now infanticide, that person cant, wont care for any other human being or doing whats right.whether it be the ecconomy, the people or country.only our enemies will thrive.o,s agenda of freedom of speech, gun control, the takeover of news and internet ,the rights of terrorist,ft.hood, the terrorist from cuba, everything about this man and his czars should scare every american.bush wasnt perfect but he did everything in his power to keep us safe.like nebbuchenezzer i think the handwriting is on the wall and o.is going to get his path to destruction.does he still hear the sweet sound of morning muslim prayers?
  • Posted By: to dog face, keith, bluebird, keith,i dont post under any 1 name, just as a story hits me.bluebird, good informed post, dogface,if you notice all jeannies post seem to promote a person who was raised on the fat of the land, and seems to still get her share of other peoples hard earned money.thats why huge amounts of taxpayer money is no problem.global warming would be a good thing since wackos in calif.are trying to destroy their produce production.the north would have a longer growing season.wonder if jeannie will explain the former ice age that killed the dinasours.i feel sorry for her.someone asked gore about the rise in numbers of polar bears and he till insisted they were in danger.and some peoplestill believe every fantasy he promotes.but if the earth is doomed you,d think he d give up his huge carbon footprint to save it,he must not be too worried, but why should he,he s got the jeannies of the world pushing for him.so long comrades.

  • Posted By: bobbyO there was a video clip of the game but NO story! No place to comment and put in our congrats to the team and the coaches for a well played game--but when Marshall loses, then it seems you all can't wait to put a full story on the bad news. Let all the backseat coaches put in all their mean and hurtful remarks (not just to the team, but to the fans as well) If your going to be fair, put a story in win or lose!! Your website manager must be a WVU fan! Which considering the season they've had,not something I'd want to brag about! O n btw? Where's all the critics calling for their head coaches job? Or Notre Dame? Michigan? Guess Coach Snyder should take it as a compliment that he's know so well he's the only one in all of sports where 'so called fan's' are calling for his head! I think WE should be thanking him for putting up with such bs for 5 seasons! Man takes a nothing left to work with team and more than likely will take them to a bowl and people still complain--freakin' IDIOT'S!
  • Posted By: bobbyWhy is it when Marshall loses, it seems you all can't get it on line fast enough after a game....but when Marshall WINS, especially a big game as it was last Saturday--absolutely NOTHING! This isn't the first time this is happened, but I sure hope it's the last time!!!!
  • Posted By: dogfaceHey Jeannie, Did we cause the glaciers, that used to cover this part of the world, to melt too??? Ignore the sun's output as a possible cause effect too. I guess you would rather listen to the people that are making the billions off the global warming scam. I hope you will be happy when America starts asking all of us to pay for the cap&trade taxes coming at us if they have their way. $6 gas and home electric and heating/cooling bills that will be at least triple what they are now...... and that's according to President Obama.... so it'll probably be more....
  • Posted By: BluebirdProve it.
  • Posted By: GandalfAlex and Eddie Van Halen with Mark Stone used the name Mammoth in 1972. Dont know any more about Stone but they met Michael Anthony and David Lee Roth soon afterward. I remember seeing them sometime in the mid 70's when it seemed there were 2 or 3 concerts locally each week. My first concert was in about 70 or 71 at Memorial Field house. Who sang "Inna Godda Da Vida" baby? I know, I was there!
  • Posted By: Can you please do me a favorPost him so he can leave and I can get some work done thank you in advance I love Channel 3 you are the best.
  • Posted By: JeannieI suppose if disappearing glaciers and melting Arctic ice caps and warming oceans don't prove that global warming/climate change exists, then nothing will. Maybe I should forget everything I've learned from scientists and just listen to the scientists that oil companies have bought off - yeah, those guys are the only truth tellers. hahahaha. The most understated quote of the century is "ignorance is bliss."
  • Posted By: KeithHey Saturday Night Live, what's your posting name? Good post, I heard that skit it was hilarious. Hey Roane Co., relax buddy. What's your favorite 80s hair band? Ratt? The Crue? Poison? Hey Gandalf, heres one for you. What was the "working name" of Van Halen, before they were named Van Halen? Did anybody see the new Rasmussen poll on "health care?" 56% opposed, 38% in favor. Wow. Democrats are responding to the clear demand of the American people to reform the HC system. LOL. More like committing political suicide. You know folks, whether its $50 in a back alley or $300 million in a back room, prostitution us bad. Did you hear what it took to bribe LA Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu into voting for Obamacare? Well, at least we know where the "stimulus" funds are going! No jobs are anywhere in sight, but that sure makes for a nice slush fund, courtesy of the American taxpayer. Health Care? We are forced to pay for abortions, if you don't sign up you are jailed; USA, Democrat-style.
  • Posted By: BluebirdWhile I don't approve of the method the info was obtained, I have been so excited that the lies to push global warming are being exposed. How sad it makes me that it is difficult to find this very important story. In contrast I see most news stations reporting even more scary reports to hurry and push the controlling Copenhagen deal through before it becomes impossible to claim our earth is warming due to our actions. I would hope the people of the world demand unaltered proof of this warming before allowing such an event to happen or the Cap and Trade tax to pass. But no, we are still being deceived. Has everyone sold their soul to that old deceiver-Satan in order to get where they are on the ladder of success? Is truth so hard to come by that we willingly present ourselves for sacrifice, giving up the last remains of our freedom? I never thought I would ever see this day. Shame on all who push this deceit on your faithful people!!!!Does no one care we are being ruined due to a lie?
