Now LeRoy McMillion is facing a malicious wounding charge. Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies say around one Sunday morning they got a call that a woman was having a hard time breathing.
She told police her husband hit her essentially crushing her esophagus and she could hardly breathe. It happened at their home on Tate Hollow Road in Sissonville.
The woman's injuries don't appear to be life threatening.
Meanwhile LeRoy McMillion is out of jail on ten thousand dollars cash bond.
