Kanawha County Delegate Agrees to Settlement

A Kanawha County Delegate has settled a lawsuit stemming from the death of his son. Tuesday Judge Jim Stuckey signed off on a settlment between Mark Hunt and West Virginia University Hospitals.

Hunt filed a lawsuit in 2001 claiming the hospital and doctor contributed to his son's death.

In 1999: Andrew Hunt died of a heart defect.

Part of the settlement remains under wraps, but public records show the settlement amount at 370-thousand dollars. WVU and Dr. Robert Gustafson still deny Hunt's claims.
