SUTTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- At one local lake, summer fun is coming with more restrictions.
Starting Monday, alcohol will be off limits at all areas around Sutton Lake in Braxton County. That includes both on the land and in the water.
Alcoholic beverages used to be just prohibited at the Bee Run and Dam recreation sites, but the Army Corp of Engineers decided to expand the restrictions.
Verbal and written warnings will be issued first. Repeat offenders could face a federal citation.

I'm sure whats happened here, is people throwin cans behind and leaving them. If people would pick up after themselves this wouldn't have happened.

Great might as well sell it wait till the coast guard bans drinking and boating altogether just like the dept of highways did and since them and the Corp of engineers are both a part of govt and the transportation safety administration is in charge you wont be able to drink and operate any kind of device what so ever it just aint right is it. no one should care if they get drunk and kill someone else as long as they get to have their alcohol, what an idiotic way to look at things, and I'll bet no one will miss you at the marina
