Huntington Man Charged in String of June Robberies Waives to Grand Jury

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The man police say is responsible for a number of armed robberies in Huntington was back in court Thursday morning.
The attorney for Brian Hensley waived the case to a grand jury during the hearing in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
Hensley did not appear in court.
Hensley faces charges in connection with the robbery of the Peoples Bank on June 8th, Chevron robbery on June 16th, 7-Eleven robbery on June 18th and robbery of Jimmy Johns on June 19th.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington police have made an arrest in a string of armed robberies in the city.
Brian Keith Hensley faces charges in connection with the robbery of the Peoples Bank on June 8th, Chevron robbery on June 16th, 7-Eleven robbery on June 18th and robbery of Jimmy Johns on June 19th.
Police say Hensley admitted robbing each location. The US Attorney's Office will review the case to figure out if federal bank robbery charges apply to the theft at Peoples Bank.
Hensley is currently being processed in magistrate court. Hensley turns 39 years old Wednesday.

there are many hard working people in huntington and to see someone like this come into our business and take from us makes me sick. there is no excuse for people like this. we all have to work... let him serve is time to the fullest and not be let off easy..

This scum, if found guilty, should spend the rest of his life in prison (no parole). In there, he should face hard labor. This kind of punishment would not only meet the demands of justice, but send a very clear message to others who may be thinking of armed robbery. The message being, "CRIME DOESN'T PAY."
