Tractor-Trailer Wreck Backs Up I-64 Traffic
The eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 were reduced to one lane Wednesday night in the Huntington area because of a tractor-trailer accident that occurred between the Hal Greer Boulevard and 5th Street exits, according to Cabell County 911 officials. HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 were reduced to one lane Wednesday night because of a tractor-trailer accident that occurred between the Hal Greer Boulevard and 5th Street exits, according to Cabell County 911 officials.
While no injuries were reported, authorities remained at the scene to clean up the wreckage.
As of 10 p.m., eastbound traffic in the area continued to be backed up. Emergency workers were not certain how much longer the cleanup would take.
